A bit more about what we did
Projectworq was engaged to lead the project and pull in a team of specialists. Environmental and geotechnical site investigation works indicated a highly challenging site with poor (weak) subgrade conditions and highly contaminated fill used to reclaim the land. Numerous designs have been worked through to engineer a solution around these restrictions, bringing Brisbane City Council, flood modellers and a town planner into the discussion. All potential solutions have limitations, including, constructability, amenity and cost.
Currently, alternative designs and venues are being considered.
To-date, Projectworq has provided a full suite of project management services, including:
- project scoping, value engineering and management of scope changes
- specialist consultant tender issue and appointment
- budget management including monthly tracking and cash flow forecasting
- preparation of AFW documentation for lodgement with Council
- liaison with regulatory bodies
- management of specialist consultants
- assistance with lease boundary changes
